Verdant implemented an emission and compliance tracking system at a major aerospace facility using the opsEnvironmental software package. The system is used to track all activities at the facility that result in criteria or toxic emissions including coating use, operation of ground support equipment, stationary combustion equipment, abrasive blasting operations, and refrigerant use. The system has been expanded in order to track greenhouse gas emissions. The system has been implemented so as to move data gathering and compliance monitoring tasks to the operating unit thereby reducing the cost of reporting and compliance.
